Following his participation in the Berklee Jazz clinics held at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia in 2015, Blake was awarded a scholaship worth $30,000 for each of the 4 years necessary to complete the Berklee College of Music courses in Boston, Masachussettes (USA), equivalent to a sum total of $120,000.

In 2020 he headlined all of the major jazz festivals in Italy (Umbria Jazz, Fano Jazz, Pescara Jazz, Piacenza Jazz, Casa del jazz in rome ecc.) as bass player of Gianluca Petrella's Cosmic Renaissance

During the summer of 2019 with Savana Funk, Blake participated four times in the Jova Beach Parties, playing to crowds of up to 40,000 at a time and jamming onstage with Lorenzo Cherubini Jovanotti each time.
